There are many refugees, everyone has own story.

When we were in refugees’ camp every body tell his story. This one of the stories which took place in four countries.

His name is Ahmed, since he was in elementary school his dream to  study education and establish school in his village where it lay about 30 miles from the bording school he studied, he gained his dream and established school in his village after he graduated from university, where the girls found education opportunity.

People do not allow girls go to school,  he encourage people to let girls go to school,  when the war broken out in Darfur western Sudan,  the government recruited Arab militia called as Janjaweed.

The government military and Janjaweed attack civilians, burning villages and kill every person and loot animals, term called (scorched earth). The school and village has been burned.

He was targeted to be killed but he escaped to city, arrested by another patrol stayed 6 months in detention in a small cell, and released with conditions to collect information about the rebels or will be killed. He had to flee refugee camp to neighbor country Chad, where he became a target because he testified to ICC (International Criminal court) which accused Sudan president Omar Albasheer with genocide in Darfur.

After he gave information about mass killing there, the Sudanese government wanted to assassinate him in exile , he had to flee to Libya, Libya also became another war zone. He was arrested by Libyan Revolutionary with many black people accusing them of mercenary fighting beside the late Libyan president (Moaamar Algadafi) against the revolutionary, they sentenced him to death, but fortunately the NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) allied with the revolutionary fightcraft attacked around building by missile and made disturbance among guards. He felt and walked for two days toward Egypt, avoiding any city or village in order not to be arrested again, he was about to die with thirst. He always says I'm the most lucky person, the friendly fire saved me from death. but I don't know anything about some of my family  members, then may have been killed but my wife and my daughter five years since I saw them.

When he entered Egypt but the Egyptian border guards didn't allow him to enter Egypt because he didn't have a passport or any ID. They wanted to deport him to Sudan but he refused and called for protection from UNHCR (The United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees) to protect him.

The UNHCR members came to the Libyan-Egyptian border, he applied for asylum, then was recognized as a refugee. Then stayed for three years in the refugee camp on the border for 4 years, then resettled to U S A.
